Schon pool cues continue to build on a long tradition of excellence in the cue industry, since 1981. Their cues are hand-crafted instruments that play near to profection. With Schon, every cue truly stands for the german meaning behind the name BEAUTIFUL. The CX54 Is definitely beautiful, This pool cue Starts with a stained birds-eye forearm and ebony butt, with 6 ebony points, filled with elongated ebony trimmed, ivory and turquoise diamonds and small ebony and ivory and turquoise diamonds throughout. The butt section is ebony with 8 turquoise ovals and 8 ivory spear shaped designs around thee butt of this Schon cue. This like any Schon pool cue is loaded with high grade exotic materials. The wrap is a black with white specs irish linen wrap, the tip is a 13mm proprietary backed tip, hard (similar to Water Buffalo tip). Backed by a Proprietary "Schon" brand ferrule, developed to hit like ivory, and the Schon pool cue shafts are 29'' long with a 10" to 12'' pro taper, and are Canadian hard rock maple. The collars (shaft & joint) are black proprietary plastic with a nickel silver ring, and a polished stainless steel piloted joint, with a 5/16" 14 pitch, stainless steel joint pin. The rings throughout this cue contain, silver, ebony, and ivory balabushka style rings. The bumper is Black rubber, and is secured by a screw which threads into the weight bolt in the bottom of the cue.
