Schon pool cues continue to build on a long tradition of excellence in the cue industry, since 1981. Their cues are hand-crafted instruments that play near to profection. With Schon, every cue truly stands for the german meaning behind the name BEAUTIFUL. The CX37 is definitely beautiful, This pool cue starts with a grey stained birds-eye maple forearm, with 5 natural birds-eye maple points, trimmed with ebony veneers with 5 ebony and red stained maple inlaid designs, and 5 ivory triangle inlays. The butt section is grey stained birds-eye maple with 5 ebony trimmed reverse natural birds-eye maple points, and 5 ebony and red inlays, with ivory triangles around the butt of this Schon cue. This like any Schon pool cue is loaded with high grade exotic materials. The wrap is a black with white specs irish linen wrap, the tip is a 13mm proprietary backed tip, hard (similar to Water Buffalo tip). Backed by a Proprietary "Schon" brand ferrule, developed to hit like ivory, and the Schon pool cue shafts are 29'' long with a 10" to 12'' pro taper, and are Canadian hard rock maple. The collars (shaft & joint) are black proprietary plastic with a nickel silver ring, and a polished stainless steel piloted joint, with a 5/16" 14 pitch, stainless steel joint pin. The bumper is black rubber, and is secured by a screw which threads into the weight bolt in the bottom of the cue.
